Todos Santos is a small artist, fishing and agricultural village about 40 minutes north of Cabo San Lucas via Federal Highway 19. Todos Santos was named one of Mexico’s Pueblos Mágicos (Magical Towns) in 2006. A new mega project called “Playa Santos” has been proposed just south of Todos Santos. The Los Cabos Billfish Tournament, and its winning purse of $750,000, will take place October 15-19, 2013 in San Lucas. What differentiates this sport fishing tournament, celebrating its 15th year, from the other major angler competitions in this area, is the scoring. The Natural History Museum of Cabo San Lucas, also known as El Museo de las California's is easily found at its central location at the northern corner of the tiny Amelia Wilkes Plaza, between Cabo San Lucas Avenue and Miguel Hidalgo. Once considered ''Little Bisbee's'' for 12 long years, the 13th annual Los Cabos Offshore Tournament, has finally grown up and will no longer be in the major prize winning shadows of the big money Black and Blue tournament that follows its late October 18-20 date.
