Zip Lines - Don't Look Down
Exhilarating and exciting, and definitely for older kids, the impressive scenery of Boca de la Sierra (a UNESCO protected biosphere reserve) provides the backdrop for most of the zip-line operators in Los Cabos.
You can join your kids (or more sensibly stand on the ground and watch them!) as they zip line across canyons above a beautiful desert stream, rappel down a rock wall, traverse various suspended bridges, and climb the famous Crazy Ladder.
The guides are friendly and bilingual and will provide the necessary instructions and the all-important safety briefing.
As ever with extreme activities, people take part at their own risk and safety should always be at the forefront.
The safety record in Los Cabos is excellent and may of the operators are governed by external quality and safety standards.
The tours usually last about 5 hours and you will be picked up and dropped off at your hotel and as a guide they cost around $100 per person.
