Things To Do In Cabo
ATV Tours - Happy Trails
You can’t visit Los Cabos without being asked if you want to take an ATV tour and there are a host of operators offering such trips.
Typically they last 3-5 hours including the pick-up and return and they are not really suitable for young children.
There are lots of rules on who can drive and minimum age limits for drivers, however this can often be on the lax side provided parents sign a consent and waiver that basically makes them responsible for their own offspring. It’s tempting to let your teen drive, but there are also very real dangers in this and some prior experience on such machines would be advisable!
One thing to remember: this is a desert tour and that means dust! And LOTS of it!
The tour operator will provide a kerchief mouthguard and goggles, but everything you wear will soon be covered in dust and sand so be aware!
Most tours end up on the spectacular Migrinos beach area and there are a few sections where the kids can get the machines flat out on runs through the arroyos as well as some steep climbs and descents into and out of them.
It’s a fun trip to take and you get to see a part of the desert that you would not normally see.
Think safety first and follow the tour guide’s instructions and advice at all times.
Start your engines – have fun!
