Visit Los Barriles
Long considered a city with unparalleled sports fishing, Los Barriles, also features a neighborhood of organic fruits with wonderful mangos, dates and avocados grown in the nearby little town of Santiago. With a very small population of 6,000 residents, comprised of 50% locals and the other half; American and Canadian expatriates, visitors are welcome to stay at any of the 8 hotels in Los Barriles.

Tio Pablo's, is easily recognized as the large palapa style structure that is located on the main north-south road that weaves its way through Los Barriles. The restaurant's menu specializes in seafood, salads, steaks, and burgers. Otra Vez is another local restaurant along with Buzzard Bay Sports Cantina, located in the mall off Highway 1.

Los Barriles also offers an array of outdoor activities that begin with ATV beach adventure tours, horseback riding and exceptional wind surfing and kiteboarding. Los Barriles in the East Cape, remains to this day, an ocean front city, located between San Jose del Cabo to the south and La Paz, in the north. Many visitors consider Los Barriles to be closer to the small fishing village that San Lucas once used to be.
The town is so small that there are only two gas stations, which make for the perfect stop to fuel up and ask for directions from any of the few friendly station attendants that can provide the ample directions one needs to relax and enjoy this wonderful, friendly community.
