Cerritos Beach
This is a right point break when the swell runs right or a good beach break the majority of the time.
Longboarders love Cerritos, where NW swells wrap nicely down the headland at all tides and the beach peaks offer something for all abilities. Cerritos Beach Club and Surf has rentals and food and the whole stretch is earmarked for development with condos, hotels, golf courses etc.
There is often a sandbar visible on a right point break, with variable waves on the inside; and depending on the sand bar, you can often catch some nice lefts that peel into beautiful tubes. Cerritos breaks steadily, set after set, with no frequent “waiting time” between sets. This creates a constant “white water” parade of waves on the inside shallow water, making it a wonderful place to learn how to surf.
It is easily reached and well signposted off the main Highway (Km66 mark) from Cabo to La Paz before Todos Santos.
