Some Say That The Most Dangerous Thing in Cabo Is The Sun!
Of course, you won’t want to avoid the sun completely when you here. But you do need to be careful. The sun is pretty fierce here in Cabo.
Best to be boring
Limit your exposure to UV rays, and stay in the shade. Especially between 10am – 4pm, when the sun is at its strongest. Or at least cover up.
Use a good sunscreen
Preferably a broad spectrum, high SPF sunscreen that is waterproof. Wear a hat, and don’t forget your UV sunglasses.
Remember UV rays can reach below the water’s surface. So you may need to wear a t-shirt if you are snorkelling or swimming for long periods of time.
Watch out for the kids
They tend to burn more easily. Of course, you will never be able to get them out the water, or off the beach. So probably best just to keep them covered up when they are swimming and running around.
Nothing can ruin a holiday more than a child with sunburn: take care and have fun!
