Annual Stars And Stripes Fishing And Golf Tournament

Started in 1996 by Dick Gebhard, then a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County.

The event has donated over $15 million to Southern California charities over its 16-year history. Affectionately known as “The Feel Good Tournament,” Stars and Stripes seeks to be an effective charity fundraiser which creates lasting memories for both the organizations it assists and those participating in the event each year.

The event operates in association with our friends at Golden State Foods Foundation, a registered 501 C (3) non-profit organization. The event’s proceeds benefit local children’s charities in our community.

Stars  & Stripes is managed through an elected, volunteer Board of Directors, “The Knights”.

No direct or indirect financial benefit is provided to any board members.
