Los Fundadores Beach Club will be hosting their Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club ''Chupacabra Open'' night golf tournament on Monday, April 22, 2013. The semi-nocturnal event will start at 7:00 p.m. and finish at 11:30 p.m. The first annual tournament is limited to the first 18 teams (36 participants) who sign up on a first come, first serve basis. Cost per team is $ 85 USD for members and $125 USD for non-members.

AirTran Arways (owned subsidiary of Southwest Airlines) announced a new nonstop flight between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and San Jose del Cabo International Airport starting June 1st, 2013.
The flight is scheduled to depart Austin at 11:25 a.m. and arrive at San Jose del Cabo at 12:45 p.m. Returning flights will depart from San Jose del Cabo at 1:35 p.m. and arrive at Austin at 4:55 p.m. local times.

San Jose del Cabo's busiest non-profit organization, Liga MAC, will hold their 9th annual Jazz Festival this year on Friday, March 22. Individual tickets are now on sale at a cost of $350 and $150 U.S. Dollars. Liga (meaning league) MAC is an agency founded by a small group of Mexican, American and Canadian (MAC) women in 1997. Sometimes we get reminded the hard way that paradise can also have the occassional tragedy.
Nobody was hurt or injured thankfully, however there was a serious fire in Todos Santos on Thursday February 28th which damaged some homes and businesses.
The fire started at midday in the zone known as “La Cañada del Diablo (Devil’s Glen)” and travelled quickly on the strong winds.
