The damage to the Playa Grande hotel (above) may yet become one of the iconic images of the effect Hurricane Odile had on the tourist industry of Los Cabos.
Every hotel has sustained damage of some kind however and we will try to bring as much of the images as we can together here as soon as they become available.

"We are fortunate that Pacifica is in very good condition after the storm, and we anticipate a quick cleanup. As we have previously mentioned, our resorts did not suffer any major damages, only cosmetic damages. At Pacifica, the lobby area, restaurants and bars are all intact. The pool was not damaged; the removal of sand is the only work it will require. There is also cleanup work that needs to be done on other parts of the hotel grounds, as well as in some of the rooms, but our dedicated team is working industriously to take care of all related issues. To be sure, hurricanes make for a lot of work, but our team is confident that the resort will be ready to receive guests starting October 1st."
Secrets Marquis Los Cabos
No image yet - just a quote from a guest:
"Everything is a mess here at marquis. We are still in shelter, no running water or ac. Resort is in shambles best we can see (they arent letting us see much). They have told us that we are "refugees" and not guests, so we get three meals a day and bottled water. No alcohol allowed. Toilets dont flush, people cant shower..... The staff is doing the best they can, but this is hell. Just heard we will not be out of the shelter until tomorrow at the earliest. Our luggage is all still in our boarded up and probably destroyed rooms, so even if we had someplace else to go, we are stuck here. "
