AirTran Arways (owned subsidiary of Southwest Airlines) announced a new nonstop flight between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and San Jose del Cabo International Airport starting June 1st, 2013.
The flight is scheduled to depart Austin at 11:25 a.m. and arrive at San Jose del Cabo at 12:45 p.m. Returning flights will depart from San Jose del Cabo at 1:35 p.m. and arrive at Austin at 4:55 p.m. local times.

Southwest have just announced plans to fly from Houston’s Hobby airport to Cabo San Lucas in June 2013.
The low cost, no frills carrier is picking up AirTran's flights to Mexico and the Caribbean after buying its rival last year. It's getting a new reservations system to handle overseas bookings and is seeking to build an international terminal at Houston's Hobby Airport, where it says it could ultimately add 25 flights abroad a day.
