Carnitas “Los Michoacanos” was born in 1899 in San Bartola town, a town also known as Álvaro Obregón, Michoacán. Located only 22 Km. from the capital city of Morelia in the beautiful state of Michoacán, México.
Mr. Ambrosio Graciano Reyna, began cooking this famous "pork carnitas dish" back then. Some time after, the tradition was continued by Mr. Vicente Graciano Ángeles.
The family recipe was greatly improved by Mr. Jesús Graciano Ángeles. As time went by, the family recipe was passed on to Mr. Filemón Graciano Alvarado who arrived to the Southern Baja in September 27th, 1992.
