Any film buffs in Cabo tonight should
head to the Macondo Libreria for a screening of Buñuel famous, 1972 Oscar winning
-“The discreet charm of the bourgeoisie”.
The movie is the first in a new
comedy series to be screened this season by Cabo Cine Club. It is considered
one of Buñuel’s best films. And a masterpiece of world cinema.
But that isn’t the only Cine Club
date for your diary. Tomorrow night there will be a special screening of the
documentary film" Los Ladrones Viejos ", directed by Everardo
González, one of Mexico’s beast know documentarists. The director will be
present for a special question and answer session after the movie.
This screening will be in the cinema hall of the Cultural Pavilion
Republic. Entrance is free. But arrive early – it will be busy.Cinema is becoming more of a thing in Cabo. And this November Cabo will host its 6th International Film Festival.
