With the date for Cabo’s International Film Festival
getting closer, news of more exciting premieres are being released.
The latest came yesterday when it was unveiled that one
of Mexico’s most famous female pop rock artists - Natalie La Fourcade - will perform
in concert to celebrate the world premiere of a documentary that charts the making
of her last album.
The documentary - Hasta la Raiz - takes the form of a diary that follows, in a very
intimate and personal way, the whole process of creation of her sixth album.
From the production and recording of the songs, to its own transformation with
the audience in concerts and touring.
The album has been a huge success, her best so far –
picking up no less than 5 Latin Grammys (2015), and 1 Grammy for best Latin
rock, urban or alternative album (2016).
The singer is a fairly frequent visitor to Cabo, coming
two or three times a year. And some scenes are shot here on location in Cabo.
The film festival will take place from From November 9th to 13th. Tickets are still available.
