Hurricane Vance has now been confirmed from its previous
tropical storm level warning and continues to travel more or less as predicted,
posing little direct threat to Los Cabos.
So far it is predicted to weaken during Monday and if
forecasts are correct should still not pose a threat to Los Cabos, however by
Tuesday it is possible that winds will increase and there may be some rain.
This is unwelcome news for vacationers obviously but it may
also affect the Tuna Jackpot tournament which starts next week in Cabo.
Large swells and rough seas may impact the area by Monday or
Tuesday according to the NOAA.
