Just days after Southwest Airlines announced a December
opening for new flights from Los Angeles to Los Cabos, Delta Air Lines does the
same.
The non stop, twice a day flights from Los Angeles to Los Cabos will
operate on an Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 160 seats per flight.
Carlos E. Hernandez, the director of Delta, says the LA-Los
Cabos route is one of the first to be opened up since
the implementation of the bilateral air agreement was announced between Mexico
and the United States.
"Providing
access to Los Cabos is part of Delta’s trans-border strategy in Latin America, to an
attractive leisure destination. Together with our partner Aeromexico, Delta already
offers nonstop flights to 15 markets in Latin America from Los Angeles, and
connects more destinations in Mexico from LA than any other city "said
company executive.
Flights begin on 17 December and reservations can be made via the Delta Air Lines website.
