This year’s Cabo International Film Festival will include
new films by Woody Allen and Ewan McGregor.
The film festival is taking place from the 9-14th
of November and is likely to attract actors, directors and movie fans from all
over the world.
Rumour has it that the famous Scottish actor Ewan McGregor
- who last year won the best actor award - may well be in attendance for the
second year in a row. This time featuring his directorial debut –American
Pastoral - in which he also stars.
The film is based on the novel by Philip Roth. Set in post-war America, it's a crime-drama in
which a man watches his life fall apart as his daughter's new political
affiliation threatens to destroy their family.
Other famous names thought
likely appear are the legendary New York actor and director Woody Allen with
his 46th movie Café Society.
Set in the 1930s, the bittersweet romance follows
Bronx-born Bobby Dorfman to Hollywood, where he falls in love, and returns
broken hearted to New York, where he is swept up in the vibrant world of high
society nightclub life.
An official statement of
exactly which famous actors and directors will be in Cabo has not yet been
released. More detail to come as the event approaches - or check out the Cabo Film Festival

So if you fancy a few days in the sun plus some marathon
