With breathtaking surroundings and courses designed by
the world’s best golf architects and players - it comes as no surprise that
three of Cabo’s courses have yet again notched up some top rankings.
This time in “Mexico Desconocido” - which has selected no
less than three Cabo courses in its “5 best golf courses in Mexico”.
In top place is Diamante Dunes. Designed by the world-famous
golf architect Davis Love, in 2008. it is the only Cabo San Lucas course
located on the Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula. And it also one of the most
dramatic – where the desert meets white sand dunes, blue ocean and green
fairways.
The One & Only Palmlla grabs third slot. With 27 holes of amazing golf and spectacular vistas, it
was the first course in Latin America designed by Jack Nicklaus. Known as the
"Grand Dame of Los Cabos golf." the masterfully conceived golf course
is stunning and challenging. And still enormously popular.
And last but by no means least, in fifth place, is the
Ocean Course, in Cabo del Sol. Another world-renowned Jack Nicklaus course that
stretches along a rocky coastline with breathtaking views. Apparently, Nicklaus
himself believes it to have the “three finest finishing holes in all of
golf.”
And don’t forget, it was just back in November
2016 that IAGTO named Cabo as the Golf Destination of the Year for Latin
America & the Caribbean….
