Hurricane Blanca is currently around 920km south east of Cabo San Lucas. She appears to be moving toward the northwest at around 10 mph (17 km/h) with wind speeds of around 155km/h. A northwestward to north-northwestward motion is expected to continue through Saturday night. On the forecast track, the center of Blanca will approach the Southern Baja California peninsula on Sunday when it is currently the forecast that winds will have subsided to Tropical Storm levels (between 65 and 112km/h.
Some strengthening is expected tonight and Saturday, but a gradual weakening should begin on Sunday. Blanca is a large hurricane and her winds can extend outwards of up to 75 km from the center. Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 185 miles (295 km).

"SURF: Swells generated by Blanca are affecting the coast of southwestern Mexico and will reach the Pacific coast of the Baja California peninsula and the southern Gulf of California later today (Friday). These swells have the potential to cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions."
