The above image shows Tropical Storm Force Wind Probabilities for the next 36 Hours
Sunday, June 7 2015
Hurricane Blanca looks set to weaken to Tropical Storm level before she reaches Cabo San Lucas and surrounding areas (Loreto to Mulege). That’s the good news, however, strong warnings remain in place for when her extended winds, and general poor weather conditions, reach the most southern areas. Outdoor conditions may become treacherous with heavy rainfall (up to 15 inches) possible. According to the most recent forecasts, Blanca’s rains have potential to produce life-threatening flash floods and mudslides, and therefore great care should be taken by locals.
Still currently classed as a Hurricane, Blanca is forecast to weaken further on Sunday and throughout Monday. She is moving toward the north-northwest with this general direction of movement expected to continue throughout Sunday. This will be followed by a slight increase in speed tonight and Monday with her forecast track to approach the southwest coast of the Baja California peninsula later today and move near or along the coast tonight and Monday.

From The National Hurricane Centre (Published: 0300 AM MDT Sunday June 7, 2015)
Winds
Tropical storm conditions are expected to first reach the southern portion of the warning area by late this morning or early this afternoon, making outside preparations difficult or dangerous. Tropical storm conditions will then spread northward elsewhere within the warning area tonight and Monday. Hurricane conditions are possible in the hurricane watch area later today and tonight.
Rain
Blanca is expected to produce total rain accumulations of 6 to 10 inches over much of Baja California Sur and the southern half of the state of Baja California, with possible isolated maximum amounts of 15 inches over Baja California Sur. These rains could produce life-threatening flash floods and mudslides.
Surf
Swells generated by Blanca are affecting the coast of southwestern Mexico, the Pacific coast of the Baja California peninsula, and the southern Gulf of California. These swells are likely to cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions. For additional information, please consult products from your local weather office.
Stay safe please people!
