No power/water since 7pm. Can't remember exactly, but it got really bad right before 11Pm, eye passed right over and it got scary, then the back wall of the eye a little after 12. We're ok, kids are asleep on bedspreads and pillows in the large shower in our master bedroom where we've all been huddled since 10 something. House completely flooded upstairs and down, the community looks bad, the massive steel gate that must weigh thousands of pounds even blew down. Almost can't believe our doors and windows stayed on but they did. I know we lost the satellite dish, lots of tile which I thought would go through a window, trees and wood beams but we're all safe. Hope everyone else out there is ok too. Thoughts and prayers with you all.
There's
still plenty of rain and wind but the worst is past. I have friends who lost
all the glass and doors on their homes. This was really bad. I'm grateful and
praying for everyone else out there.
