RenegadeMike Sportfishing
RenegadeMike has been fishing the Baja Mexico region for the past 15 years, on both the long range boats out of San Diego California and the local Mexican Charter Boats. He finally decided to move to Cabo San Lucas from San Diego and buy his favorite boat, which is the Classic 31ft Bertram.
He stripped this boat down to the bare hull and designed her the way he always wanted a charter boat to be. The 31 foot Bertram is the perfect boat for fishing the Cabo San Lucas area. She gets up on plan in a hurry, turns on a dime and is very maneuverable when backing down on a fish. He added the best of everything and then some to make this the best 31ft Bertram available for charter in Cabo San Lucas.
Many of the charter boat operators here in Cabo don't even fish. They are in the business just to make money. RenagdeMike is doing what he truly loves and living his dream----fishing!
ReneagdeMike has only been operational since Nov 1st 2007 and has already had some outstanding days on the fishing grounds. On Nov 5th we had a 20 stripe marlin release day at the Finger Bank and have had two 10 marlin release days at the Golden Gate bank. We fished in the Western Outdoor News tuna tournament and finished 4th overall out of 126 boats with 135.7lb tuna
Our slip is right in front of the beautiful Puerto Parisio Mall where there are great restaurants and entertainment for the whole family.
