The Irish Supergroup U2, known for championing causes
worldwide confirmed that they have a plan to benefit the disadvantaged in Los
Cabos after Hurricane 'Odile' by re- recording of one of their hits as an
acoustic song with the proceeds going to local charities.
Bono , lead singer of U2 said "We have an acoustic version of 'Every
Breaking Wave' and we are doing a re-mix especially for the people working in
these communities, the people who are re-building their houses."
The band were filmed earlier this year jamming with some
locals in San Jose Del Cabo.
'Every Breaking Wave' is part of their most recent album 'Songs
of Innocence' which raised protests against Apple after being automatically
downloaded in the library of each iTunes user for free.
There remains some disappointment in the town
that the rock star most known for his association with Los Cabos has yet to
make any announcement about his return to Cabo Wabo.
