The National Hurricane Center has reported that the area of
low pressure in the Eastern Pacific has now become organized in the last 24
hours and Tropical depression Twenty One E has formed. It is expected to become
a tropical storm later today showing that the busy hurricane season of 2014 isn’t
done yet.
At present the depression is tracking westward but as it
strengthens it is forecast to swing back around to the north.
There is a slight chance – 10% only at this time – of Los
Cabos being affected and even then not until Tuesday of next week and probably
just by some rainfall.
We will continue to track this storm and post news here.
