The
timeshare market is looking pretty healthy in Cabo right now.
ASUDESTICO
(the association for timeshare developers in BCS) has reported annual growth
rates of 4-6% over the last three years.
Javier
Olivares, representative of ASUDESTICO, said he was very relieved that the
passage of tropical storm Javier “fortunately caused no damages in the tourist
infrastructure.”
He believes
the healthy growth rate of the timeshare industry is down to the international
promotion of Los Cabos in general. And he suggests that fishing and sporting
events like the Abierto de Tenis are particularly good for encouraging
timeshare sales.
Many of
Cabo’s top end resorts offer times share options. So perhaps that luxury Cabo
sea front apartment isn’t quite as far out of reach as you thought...
