Third annual Los Cabos International Film Festival November 12-16

As planned, the third annual Los Cabos International Film Festival will be held November 12-16, marking not only an artistic endeavor, but Cabos' resilience after Odile.

Focusing on films from Mexico, Canada, and the United States, the festival features several big premieres (like the Latin American premiere of Canadian filmmaker Xavier Dolan’s fifth feature, Mommy, and Atom Egoyan’s Captive, which premiered at Cannes). Of course, like any film festival, there will be tons of red carpet opportunities, parties, galas, and even outdoor screenings. The nine films chosen for Los Cabos Competition are:

2. 10,000 KM by Carlos Marques-Marcet (USA-Spain)—Mexican Premiere
3. A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night by Ana Lily Amirpour (USA-Iran)—Mexican Premiere
4. El Regreso Del Muerto by Gustavo Gamou (Mexico)—World Premiere
5. Güeros by Alonso Ruizpalacios (Mexico)
6. Listen Up Philip by Alex Ross Perry (USA)—Mexican Premiere
7. The Overnighters by Jesse Moss (USA) —Latin American Premiere
8. Tu Dors Nicole by Stéphane Lafleur (Canada) —Mexican Premiere
9. Violent by Andrew Huculiak (Canada) —Latin American Premiere
