Economic and Safety Reality in Cabo and Mexico

When you hear that Cabo is safe and Mexico’s economy is strong many would think “That’s not true, I just heard on the news that Mexico is dangerous and we should stay away!” Whilst it is undoubtedly true that there are areas of Mexico that are dangerous, to simply tar the entire country with that brush is stretching the truth to breaking point. In fact, conspiracy theorists would say that in order to not violate NAFTA and other agreements the US cannot directly use protectionism, so it leaves it to the media to play this protectionist role. The US media has portrayed Mexico as being on the brink of an economic collapse and civil war, especially on the weeks leading to spring break. You know how it goes, everybody in Mexico are either beheaded, kidnapped, corrupt, poor, or narco related. The reality is that Mexico is in a great position to reap the rewards from the rebound of the US economy...
