What's Happening on the 10th Annual Todos Santos Film Festival

The 10th annual Todos Santos Film Festival makes its return on Wednesday, February 20, celebrating a 10 year anniversary that began with humble, modest, beginnings in 2003. The event is spearheaded by community leaders who continue to promote their special city. Peter Buck of REM and founding member of the Todos Santos Music Fest, joins a very long list of local, affluent people, helping to bring the Film Festival back for another spectacular run. The festival kicks off with the screening of the Mexican documentary, ''Leonardo, Querido'' (My Beloved Leonardo). All of the films entered in the festival are in Spanish with English subtitles. Screenings will be held at the Hotel California and at the old, refurbished city landmark, Todos Santos Theater. Tickets for films and events can be purchased at Tecolote Book Store and at the Hotel California. Special guests include Ana Serradilla, a Mexican actress born in Mexico City, who has appeared in several music videos, 5 telenovelas (Mexican soap operas) 11 films and 6 television series. Her most recent films have been the 2011 release, ''La Otra Familia'', meaning the other family and her more recent 2012 work, ''Hidden Moon''.
