For a yacht enthusiast, yacht spotting can be an addictive hobby. Enthusiasts track and plot routes. They photograph and blog about it. Entire websites are devoted to it. However it doesn’t take a yacht expert to be blown away by the sighting of a luxury mega yacht the size of an NFL football field. Just ask anyone who wanders the Cabo San Lucas marina. Cabo San Lucas attracts some of the most impressive yachts in North America. Some come for a just a few days while others stay a month or more. Some dock in the marina, stern to stern with other mega yachts. With 380 slips, the Cabo marina can accommodate yachts up to 375 feet long. Others anchor in the Cabo bay and enjoy views of Land’s End, the arch and the only-slightly-larger cruise ships. These luxury vessels may be spotted any time of the year, though you are more likely to catch a glimpse of these beauties when it is not hurricane season...
