Much to the horror of bathers
enjoying a Sunday afternoon on Palmilla beach, the peace and tranquillity was
shattered when gunmen opened fire on 5 adults sitting under a tree.
The attack resulted in the deaths
of 3 mean. Plus one man and one woman being seriously injured.
Bathers ran to take cover in the
sea, and some headed for their cars. Fortunately army, police and paramedics arrived
on the scene in minutes. Bathers were evicted and the area was cordoned off.
It is thought that the 3 men killed could have
been from the same family. But this has not been verified. Very few details
have been released.
