At 400 AM CDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression
Two-E
was located near latitude 13.3 North, longitude 104.0 West.
The
depression is moving toward the northwest near 6 mph (9
km/h). A
slow west-northwestward to northwestward motion is expected
today,
followed by little motion tonight and Tuesday.
Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with
higher gusts.
Strengthening is forecast during the next couple of days,
and the
depression is expected to become a tropical storm later
today.
There is a 5% chance that the northernmost tip of the storm
will affect Los Cabos in the next 120 hours and we will monitor progress and
give updates as they become available.
