The festivities of San Jose del
Cabo got off to a great start yesterday – local officials cut the inauguration
ribbon, Mayor Arturo de la Rosa crowned the festival queen, and Mexican rock
band Los Klaxons were met with thunderous applause at the opening of the Youth Festival in Teatro del Pueblo.
Five days of family fun are
promised over the coming days with a jam packed program of cultural, religious and
artistic events, all sorts of sport and recreational activities and an impressive
list of musical bands.
Today’s festivities kick off
with a singing contest in Plaza Antonio Mijares, plus many other shows, ballets
and famous bands. Check out the program below.
