Tonight at the Todos Santos Film Festival, the renowned Mexican actor,
producer and director Diego Luna, will present “Mr Pig” as his third
film as director. A long time supporter of the festival, this year he has also been offering guidance and support to young students at the Cinema
School.

”Mr Pig” is a road movie starring Danny Glover
and well - known Mexican actor Jose Maria Yazpik.

website outlines the plot. The story centers on Eubanks, an American pig farmer
in Georgia. On the verge of losing the family farm, he embarks on a journey
with Howard, his beloved 200kg pig. On their way across the border to Mexico in
search of a new home for "Howie", he encounters alcohol and health
problems that inevitably lead to modifying their plans.
"Mr. Pig" has already debuted at the
Sundance Film Festival and will also be shown in Berlin at the European Film
Market.
The Mexican premiere of the film
will be held tonight at 19:00 in Cinemex, La Paz. Diego Luna will be present for a question and answer
session after the showing.
