The Old West and a Little of the Middle East in Cabo!

The allure of Cabos´ very warm climate and picturesque landscape extends beyond the balmy days of tanning, fishing, golfing, sailing, and swimming to the non-conventional, enjoyable activity of camel and horseback riding. Los Cabos is the Southern Baja California Region where ranchers and cowboys still exist and have been seen in this area of Mexico, long after the gold and silver have run out. Horseback riding is a much requested tour by visitors longing for that flavor of the old west. To saddle up and ride on to a quiet frontier lasting anywhere from one to five hours. Guests of Cabo can choose to ride along the many ocean front beaches or trek deep into the many canyons that dot the horse-friendly towns of San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. Horseback riding fees begin at $34-45 US dollars an hour and are generally limited to anyone four years and older, although many tour companies allow for under age children to ride on the lap of one of the parents. Part of this leniency is attributed to the gentle and well trained safety of the horses available at any corral of Los Cabos. All local stables have strong personal relationships between owners and their horses, who together, have been combing the beaches and mountains for more than three decades entertaining their riders year in and year out. From pony, to bronco to stallion. Each novice to experienced visitor paired with their suitable horse, making the pleasant activity perfect for children and seniors. The slow, easy-living pace of Cabo makes for a perfect horseback riding match, as riders leisurely trot along above their horses...
