and Villa del Palmar in Loreto Islands Announce First Joint Sportfishing &
Golf Tournament on June 29 – July 2
Hoped to be
the first of many this new competition combines golf and fishing in the
spectacular islands of Loreto. A sportfishing paradise, with world class
beaches and the sumptuous surroundings of Villa del Palmar.
Participants
kicked off the 3 day event today with a round of golf in El Danzante Bay Golf
Club’s new course. Designed by Rees Jones, the new course maximizes the
magnificent views of both Danzante Bay and the Sea of Cortez to the east and
the Sierra de la Giganta mountain range to the west.
Next on the
agenda are two spectacular days of fishing, offering participants the chance to
hook a mighty Dorado, or mahi mahi, in what is considered the Dorado capital of
the world.

Loreto Islands just before the July 4 North American of holidays," said

Sur, FONMAR, Bisbee Fishing tournament in Eastern Cape and the Blue Anchor
restaurant in Loreto.
