Bathed in waters from the Pacific and the golf of
California, and sheltered by the famous El Arco, the beaches are firm favourites
attracting thousands of visitors every year.
Accessible only by sea, and popular for snorkelling,
swimming and kayaking the City of Los Cabos has decided to put two permanent
life guards in place. They will be there from 09.00-5.00, 7 days a
week providing help and advice on swimming and all water based activities.
Holmos Francisco Montaño, of ZOFEMAT, said that beaches which
attract such high numbers of local, national and international visitors must be
safe and remain guarded at all times.
