This year’s Cabo film festival will feature “Jackie” - starring Natalie Portman as Jackie Kennedy
Onassis.
Already winner of the Best Screenplay at the Venice Film
Festival, the film has been widely praised by international film critics. And is currently in the running for a prize at
the Toronto Film Festival.
2016 will be the fifth Cabo International Film Festival
which was set up in 2012 to “to positively contribute to the growth of global
film culture, focusing especially on Mexico, Canada and the United States while
supporting their filmmakers.”
Each year the festival has successively drawn more interest
and more crowds. With international directors, actors and producers attending the
5-day event.
This year it will take place from the 09-13 November. There
will be galas, screenings, events and talks in various venues across Cabo.
It’s a great bit of culture to catch while in Cabo. Tickets
are available online – and offer lots of options for events, screenings, hotels
and flights.
