Just what Pisces Sport fishing owner, Tracy Ehrenberg was enjoying last weekend.
After a fabulous few days snorkelling and paddle boarding in Cabo Pulmo, with a last-minute spot of fishing, just outside Cabo Bay, Tracy felt the pull.
Reeling it in she was delighted to see a good-sized Jack Crevalle. But it was a hungry hammerhead shark that got the last laugh. And the first bite!!
“From time to time you can lose all, or part of your catch to a shark. But hey – we all have to share. And it certainly makes for an interesting fish story!!” - laughs Tracy. “ Sharks have made a big comeback in the last few years. Numbers have increased dramatically due to new laws protecting them. It would be fantastic if laws could be passed to protect marlin. Or even if the existing legislation could actually be enforced, we would see a return to the much healthier marlin stocks of the last two decades.”
