A Proud Celebration of Horse and Rider. The Todos Santos Annual Horse Festival

The second annual Todos Santos Horse Festival (Festival del Caballo) will take place this year on Sunday, April 28, 2013. The free event is a cavalcade of dancing horses, rodeo events, trick roping, barrel races, and begins with a colorful parade through town, beginning at Puente La Muela to the Todos Santos baseball stadium. ''I remember going last year and it was great!'' exclaimed Nedra Dreyer, with much enthusiasm, as she recollected the growing family-friendly festivities of a year ago, which begin at 9:30 a.m. ''Anyone who wants to can ride in the Cabalgata,'' said organizers Arturo Geraldo and Kaia Thomson; referring to the parade of men, women and children, who ride into the small town of Todos Santos from distant ranches secluded in the desert, cactus filled mountains nearby.
