Hard Rock International – owner of one of the world’s most
recognized brands – announced that the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos, is still on
target to be completed in 2016. The 600-room property marks the brand’s fourth
Mexican destination and will offer both family-friendly and adult-only
sections.

major player in the international market. Beginning with an Eric Clapton
guitar, Hard Rock now owns the world’s greatest collection of music
memorabilia, which is displayed at its locations around the globe.
Not everyone is thrilled, however, that yet another
all-inclusive resort is opening in the area.
“You can see why people, and especially families, like to
stay in these places,” said a local Cabo businessman, “but the problem is that
they like to keep the $s on the property and you don’t get so many visitors to
the center as you used to from tourists. The local businesses suffer because of
that and so do the restaurants and bars. For sure, the guests that stay there go on trips from time to time, but it
is always based on what the concierge or the property offers them. So they may
be good for the tourists that want …everything the same as back home I guess you could call it…but they don’t put much back
into the local economy.”
Here at iTravel-Cabo we believe in choice and that is why we offer EVERY local business the opportunity to list themselves for free on our directory and Vacation Planner. That means that our site visitors can do their own research before they come to Los Cabos and can make informed decisions on where they want to go and what they want to see. After all, if you spend 2 weeks in an all-inclusive resort you could be anywhere...we'd prefer you came to Mexico!
