Mexicans do
not celebrate Thanksgiving per se, preferring November 20th – The Day
Of The Revolution – but in Cabo you will find a wide variety of celebrations to
join in with most of the bars and restaurants offering some nod to the feast
day.
With much
of the north east of the US blanketed by snow and freezing temperatures, those
lucky enough to be in Cabo during the holiday can start the day with a nice
walk on the beach, toes in the water, sun on your back and head for breakfast
at one of the many restaurants around Medano.
Then your
day can be taken at your leisure, doing whatever you want, from chilling on the
beach with a book to some wild adventure from one of the many tour operators,
all before that all important turkey dinner - either with friends and family or
dining out in style – you are on vacation after all!
If you
still have the energy then the nightclubs will all be open and ready to party
into the wee hours.
And then you
get to do it all again tomorrow…probably without the turkey of course! But
there is always the shopping!
Thanksgiving
in Cabo – what’s not to like?
