Fun Family Time at the Cabo Glass Blowing Factory

One of the popular stops during a Cabo San Lucas City Tour, is the Glass Blowing Factory where artisans develop beautiful pieces of art sculptures which families, and visitors can either watch or participate in the experience and even take home their very own glass creations. The Vitrofusion Glass Factory is a place guests of Los Cabos enjoy picking up some very affordable souvenirs molded by the centuries-old Mexican tradition of glass blowing. The Factory itself is the first and oldest glass making factory of its kind in all of Mexico. Almost every culture since ancient times has historically hand blown all of their glass. The craft is considered a mesmerizing few minutes watching the fascinating technique used in forging glassware, figurines, plates, bowls and anything else imaginable by the creative mind and man made tools. Glass making is said to have been discovered accidentally by potters somewhere around 3,000 B.C. After primitive methods and techniques were improved, its invention is thus credited to the pioneers of the skill about 1,000 B.C...
