Sabor a Cabo 2013, 8th Annual International Food & Wine Festival

Los Cabos may have long ago cemented its reputation for luxury resorts and plush spas, championship golf courses and world class sportfishing, but its reputation as a culinary destination has grown tremendously over the past decade as well. Cabo does still offer one of the most popular eating experiences – grabbing a table at one of the beach restaurants for a bucket of beers and some chips, salsa and guacamole – but Cabo is a lot more than chips and salsa. As it has grown up, some of the most talented chefs from all over Mexico have been drawn to this tourist hotspot. Each year the culinary offerings have expanded, making Los Cabos a legitimate fine dining destination. There are several annual food-related events, and it seems like each year there is a new one. Arguably the most impressive of these events is the well-established Sabor a Cabo International Food & Wine Festival, which is approaching fast and shaping up as a can't miss event.
