Viva Aerobus
have announced the opening of a new route from Benito Juarez Mexico City
International Airport to Los Cabos. Flights will depart daily at 17.55 from Los
Cabos.
CEO of
Viva Aerobus, Juan Carlos Zuazua said "people in Los Cabos can now fly to
Mexico City not only for the best prices, but also with a renewed service and
benefits that provide great value to our passengers”.
Cabo has
already experienced a big boost in domestic flights this year with the recent
opening of two new routes- Air Calafia
from Leon to Cabo, and Aero Mexico from Tijuana - Cabo. Flights between Loreto and Cabo are
also looking increasingly likely.
The tourism
secretary, Genaro Ruiz Hernandez is delighted with the new route and believes
it is perfect for weekend visitors to and from Los Cabos.
All in all,
with these three new flight paths Cabo looks set to receive 4 million
passengers this year – a tremendous boost to the local economy.
