Fantastic Food and Wonderful Wine

There’s been a lot of talk of Baja’s food and wine scene of late, not the least of which has come from The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and NPR. Organic farms are on the rise, and Baja wineries have been experiencing a boom over the last ten years, thanks to the adoption of new technologies. The Valle de Guadalupe outside of Ensenada is today what Chile and Argentina were ten years before, or Napa forty years ago. For those visitors who don’t have endless months to explore the region’s foodie scene, there’s an opportunity for an all-around taster at the annual GastroVino Festival.
