Famous English food critic, Tom Parker-Bowles, recently visited Baja California Sur for a gastronomic tour of the area, with a focus on Los Cabos.
Parker-Bowles has written 5 cooks books, judge on many cooking programmes, and writes regularly for a number of publications, including luxury lifestyle magazine “Pomp.”
His visit reflects the efforts of Los Cabos Tourist Trust (FITURCA), to target the European and especially UK market.
“Mexico gets half a million UK tourists a year” say Rodrigo Esconda, Director of FITURCA, “Cabo gets only 7000 of these visitors. It’s not enough. And we need to work hard to bring more UK visitors here to Cabo.”
