Authorities began their Easter operations yesterday to
secure and protect the beaches of Los Cabos during this coming holiday period.
From March 28 to April 10, the operation will provide
assurance that the municipal beaches are maintained in an orderly, safe,
environmentally sensitive manner for the benefit of local visitors and
tourists.
The delegate for Cabo San Lucas, Martin Salinas Ceseña ,
explained that all activities on the beach will be regulated to benefit both
the marine ecosystem and visitors .
He also reported that Ecology staff and Zofemat will work
together to eradicate the illegal trade in flora and fauna as well as the remove
non-licensed street vendors.
