Three of Mexico's most breathtaking golf courses, in the Los Cabos seaside corridor, hit high rankings in the Top 100 courses. Golf Digest’s Senior Editor, Ron Whitten said " The trend is clear: Seaside venues bring out the best in golf architecture. And this trio of Mexican courses on the World 100 are right on an ocean".
Diamante, which sits among some of the most dramatic sand dunes, has hit the no 52 spot. Up three place since last year, it is the only Cabo San Lucas course located on the Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula. And undoubtedly one of the most dramatic meetings of desert, white dunes, blue ocean and green fairways. A breathtaking but challenging course at 7,300 yards from the back tees.
The famous Ocean Course at Cabo del Sol is ranked no 70 on the list. Designed by Jack Nicklaus it provides the ultimate in playing strategy and beauty. The superb layout of the course is as an extraordinary golf experience for all level of players. Nicklaus himself claims it has the "three finest holes in golf".

And last but by no means least is Querencia, which has come in at no 98 in the rankings.
Designed by Tom Fazio, and opened in 2000, Querencia is 27 hole championship course and features Cabo's distinctly rugged terrain. Ranging from a high desert plateau to fairways and greens hidden under towering rocks with sweeping ocean vistas all around.
On hearing the news, Greg Tallman, director of golf at Cabo del Sol said “The inclusion of three courses on Golf Digest’s recent World 100 Greatest list reinforces just how special Los Cabos is as a golf destination. The simple truth is, nothing compares."
