The diversity of the many people who visit Los Cabos is reflective not only in their individual tastes, but also in the different activities guests prefer to enjoy. Being a part of Mexican style cooking classes and savoring the great food in Cabo is certainly an outing not high on most people's bucket list, but is definitely one that people vacationing in Los Cabos definitely like doing. Most classes are small in number and vary in price. Flora Farms Organic Restaurant offers a farm tour in which guests pick their own fruits and vegetables from their San Jose del Cabo garden, which becomes part of their instructional Mexican-style cooking experience. Flora Farms calls it their private mini-cooking class, where visitors learn to whip up fresh salsa and guacamole as well as other, easy to make, south of the border healthy dishes. Cost is $50 US dollars. In Cabo San Lucas, tourists begin mornings with a visit to Pedregal's Organic Market to select fresh vegetables to also use in their Edith's cooking class. Once they return to Edith's Restaurant, they pretty much have the place to themselves. A glass of champagne toasts the beginning of visitors cooking four different types of homemade tortillas. The toughest task possibly getting them perfectly round. From there, tortilla soup is concocted by eager students, before they move on to firing up freshly caught fish on the wood burning stoves.
