Date Published:

Yesterday marked the beginning of an international conference in Cabo that will look at all major aspects of research and conservation in the Sea of Cortez.

The 4 day event is being hosted by Autonomous University of Baja California Sur (UABCS).  And brings together the XIV Congress of the Association of Researchers of the Sea of Cortez, and the VII International Symposium on the Sea of Cortez.

It is a significant scientific conference with scientists, researchers, consultants, students, government bodies, civil associations from all over the word.

The aim of the conference is to share knowledge across the different sectors  and work together to develop future projects on the flora, fauna and marine life in the Sea of Cortez.

Discussions will center around  the innovative research and conservation efforts that are happening right now, here  in the Sea of Cortez. And will look at the implications for further studies.
