Keen to get people back
on Cabo’s beaches after the passage of Javier, Zofemat were quick to mount a clean
up program yesterday afternoon.
With 27, 000 tourists currently
in Cabo the intention is to get the beaches back to tip top condition within 24
hours.
Despite the stormy
weather the Association of Hotels of Los Cabos confirmed that occupancy
remained at 73%, as visitors patiently waited out the storm in their rooms. So now
it is even more important to “normalize” the most sought after beaches as quickly
as possible.
Sportfishing and all
other water based activities that tourists come to Cabo to enjoy are now back
in full operation.
Fortunately, hotels
have not suffered any major structural damage.
Looks like Cabo is back to business as usual.
